Two employees of a petrol pump were purportedly assaulted and plundered of Rs 5 lakh via vehicle-borne heels here on Tuesday, an authority said.

The occurrence occurred around 3.30 pm almost an Indian Oil pump in Niwari region, he said.

Kapil and Ram Naresh left the fuel station to store the cash in a bank in Modinagar when they were assaulted by two frauds, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kalanidhi Naithani told PTI.

The blackguards grabbed their pack containing the cash and terminated four adjusts noticeable all around while escaping, proprietor of the fuel pump Ajay Tyagi said.

Police are looking at CCTV film in which the suspects can be seen, the SSP said.

In another episode of theft, at around 4.45 pm on Monday a manager of a flour factory and his partner were ransacked at gunpoint. They were going to Masuri in the wake of gathering an installment Rs 5 lakh, the police said.

An examination is in progress, they said.
